Budapest Airsoft
£41 per person

This growing sport, now illegal in the UK, is a combat sport similar to Paintball. Players eliminate opponents by hitting them with plastic BBs shot from airsoft guns. Weapons used are designed as replicas of real firearms and tactical gear.

We won't lie to you - this isn't the most adrenaline-fuelled stag activity in the world. So if the lads just want to go for some relaxing, 'kiddie' fun, then this activity is perfect. Roll down 700 metres of winding chutes and tracks in little tobbogans surrounded by the beautiful Visegrad hills. It really is fun, we swear! Check out the video for proof.

You get:

  • Transport to and from bobsled venue

  • Snack (hamburger or hotdog)

The small print

  • Minimum group size of 6
  • Allow minimum four to five hours with transport

  • If weather turns bad (rain or too much snow) then the track will be closed. We'll do our best to find an alternative activity but no refund will be given.

Take lessons from double Olympic silver medallist Erno Kolcsonai on how to repel your mates' lunges and launch swift counter-attacks of your own. Then it's on to the cut and thrust of a round robin tournament, followed by a presentation for the victors given by Erno himself. Expect to work up a sweat putting your survival instincts to the test.

Budapest Banger Racing
& Crash Derby

Priced individually per group

You get:

  • A lovely, local guide (or two) as your personal cheering section
  • Transport to and from the race track
  • Two timed races
    • Minimum 10 minutes each, can be longer if requested
  • Two crash derbies
    • Minimum 20 minutes each, can go longer if requested- or as long as the cars last!
  • Souped-up racing Trabants with rollbars
    • Number of cars provided depends on group size
  • Each participant gets a helmet
  • A mechanic and helper team for each car
  • Ambulance track-side with licenced doctor
  • One mobile WC
  • Scorekeepers, race marshals and one chief race referee

The small print:
  • Each participant must wear the following:
    • Long-sleeved top
    • Long trousers
    • Closed, “hard” shoes (No trainers!)
  • Each person participates at their own risk - a waiver must be signed on site before the race
  • Beers will only be handed out after the race – no alcohol must be consumed at any time before the race
  • The transfer time is appx one hour each way from the centre of Budapest
  • Allow a full day for this activity
  • The program must be confirmed no later than one month before the event date.
  • Once the confirmation for this activity has been sent the cancellation fee is 100%, no refund will be given at any time.
  • Outdoor BBQ with all the trimmings can be added at extra cost.

Forget Royal Ascot, Hungary's oldest race track is the place for betting and booze. But there won't be picnics and champagne, we're talking dirt cheap beer, wine and spirits. The former glory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the weight of communist era ineptitude make this a unique experience.

  • Opening times are 2 p.m. to about 7-8 p.m.

A visit to Budapest's thermal baths is an absolute must, especially if you need to recharge your batteries. This ultra modern water amusement park located right beside the Hungarian F1 track is full of slides and rides. Entry to the park allows you to freely wander about and enjoy such things as the White-water rafting slide, a Lazy River ride, Flying-carpet, Free-Falling and Giant Snake slides just to name a few.

Spend some time on the beautiful Danube and work those muscles to give you strength for beer lifting later on in the evening. Paddle 9 kilometres downstream to the Roman banks where you will disembark. For an additional £10 per person, a goulash lunch will be cooked outdoors in a kettle by the river for you. Included in this activity are roundtrip transportation, equipment, professional guides, change rooms, river with water and refreshments afterwards (round of beers). Don't forget your water proof gear. Note: Minimum 10 people required.
