"It would have been nice to have the hotel slightly closer, but at the same time it was still walking distance from the main square and a very nice area. The hotels services I cannot fault. The breakfast was good, the receptionists friendly and the rooms were more than adequate. 9/10”

"Yes our guide (Blanca) was excellent. She was very friendly (and beautiful - worth the money alone!) She greeted us with a few beers, treated us to some food and showed us some good bars and clubs as well as taking us up to the strip club. 10/10”

Did you enjoy the pub crawl?

"Yes the pub crawl was fine. It was nice (especially for the Irish one in our group) to go to an Irish bar first but also good to go to more local bars. It was useful to have Blanca with us as the day after there were quite a few places that "were private parties only" - some places obviously didn't want the English in! 9/10 ”

Did you enjoy your activity?

"Our Go Karting was great. We got picked up on time by the driver and guide then went to GoKarting which was only a short trip away. As there were 8 of us we had to split into 2 smaller groups. We had a 10/15min go each and were more than happy with that but surprisingly we had another 2 goes each which was great and well worth the money. 10/10 ”

Were you satisfied with the transportation provided? Why or why not?

"Yes the transport was good. Always on time and clean. 10/10”

Generally, did the weekend meet, exceed or fail your expectations?

"Yes the weekend completely met our expectations and was very good value for money. We may be off on another stag do next year and if we are off to a place where you organise trips, we will definitely use you again. 10/10 and thank you for a great weekend.

Our guide, Petra, did an excellent job. She was a good laugh and we all liked her. We actually rang up during Friday daytime because we didn't really know what to do with ourselves and a guide called Andrew came down and helped us out which was great.

The pub crawl was really good and we were really glad we booked it because Budapest was a lot bigger and spread out than we expected, so we wouldn’t have known where we were going! 4play was absolutely fantastic!

Transportation was absolutely spot on both ways.

Everyone commented on the Andel’s hotel and how nice it was and what a good location it was in. Service was great.

The guides really were the best bit of the weekend. We hadn’t booked a guide for the second night but after the first night and how well organised it was we felt we had to sign a guide up for the second night. They arranged our taxis and entry into all the clubs which was really fantastic and saved us loads of time trying to organise taxis and keep the group together.

3.Did you enjoy the pub crawl?
Pub crawl was good. Well organised.

4.Did you enjoy your activity(ies)? Were the instructors professional (if applicable)?
The shooting was good fun but it took a long time to get there and this was increased by the traffic jams. But once we were there we had a great time and a good bus trip home. The boat cruise was great. We just chilled out with beers and had a good laugh about the night before.

5.Were you satisfied with the transportation provided? Why or why not?
Transportation was excellent. From the buses to the taxis everything was waiting for us when we wanted it.

6.Generally, did the weekend meet, exceed or fail your expectations?
The weekend exceeded my expectations. Pass on our thanks to our guides, Kasia and Blanca. I’ve probably spelt their names wrong! And thanks to you as well for all your help.

"Hi Helen,

We had the best time ever, it was fantastic and went very smoothly.

The hotel was located very centrally so it was nice and convenient being able to fall out of the hotel door into Krakow centre and vice versa! The rooms were clean and of a good size which was a bonus because believe me we've stayed in some right hell holes on stag do's in the past. Breakfast included a little more than the normal continental breakfast with eggs, various meats, sausages etc etc.

Mike did us proud, he gave us lots of valuable advice before letting us loose and also managed to talk us out of a sticky situation when we went to the firing range to fire the weapons on the activity. The instructor was not going to let us continue to fire the weapons as he could smell beer on most of the group, which considering the level of danger was quite understandable. Mike eventually talked him round, so there was a big sigh of relief. We were on best behaviour after that but still managed to have a good laugh!

It was an absolute pleasure to have Blanka and Dominique take us on the pub crawl, they look like models out of an FHM magazine so that went down well with the lads!

The pub crawl went ok apart from one place that wouldn't let us in as they apparently didn't let English people in.... how would that go down in England if the roles were reversed! I think it's pretty tough for the girls to keep a large group of lads in check and there was only 12 of us. We managed to get ourselves into a bit of trouble with some bouncers which I would not recommend. The girls did everything they could to resolve the situation but it was down to particular members of our group being A$$holes!

On a positive note it was great to have the guides take us to the bars in Krakow - on previous stag dos where we haven't had a guide we've just walked around foreign cities aimlessly not knowing where to go and wasted valuable time.

One thing that we noticed though was that at some places we were paying about £4 / £5 per drink (for large shorts like jack daniels etc) which is pretty similar to what we pay in England - we were under the impression that it was going to be cheap - do they have a Polish price and an England price?

The activities were definitely worth while. They kept us out of the bars and gave us a rest from the beer, also saving us some cash. The AK47 activity was far better than I expected. I imagined that we would fire one round from the rifles then be sent packing but we ended up spending most of the day there firing all sorts of weapons from hand guns to pump action shot guns. The instructor was authoritarian and very serious but as I mentioned before this was totally understandable considering what we were actually doing.

The meal we had was not what I expected. I was expecting a Polish meal maybe betroot soup etc but it was chicken and chips. This didn't dampen spirits in the slightest as the entertainment more than made up for it!

There were no problems whatsoever with transport - the driver was punctual and friendly and the mini bus was of a high standard.

We had an amazing time and I'm still talking about it to friends even today, nearly one week after returning!

The Trabant rally was the highlight of our weekend and Anna (our guide) was great! Couldn’t praise her enough, if it wasn’t for her I would still be stuck up that mountain trying to work out how to get the Trabant into first gear!

1. Did you feel your guide(s) did a good job? Please comment on why yes or no:

Our guides were absolutely fantastic. Both Aniko #1 & Aniko #2 handled our group of 19 incredibly well. They were very professional, organised, friendly, flexible & helpful. On top of this the thing that really made it work so well from my point of view was that they were appropriately intelligent (& attractive) which helped them to gain even more respect from the guys. All of these attributes bundled together formed an unbeatable combination!!

The guides were critical in keeping everyone pointing in 1 general direction throughout the weekend. There's no way we could have achieved any such cohesion without them as our group would have had many debates on what to do & where to go would have struggled to agree on anything.

The guides were the greatest factor in the success of our overall weekend!!

2. Did you enjoy the pub crawl? How would you have improved it?

Yes we absolutely loved the Fat Mo's bar, Inside & 4Play. These bars were perfect for what the guys wanted. It worked really well to have a guided tour & I'm convinced that we would have had a terrible time without it.

Possible things that could be improved on the bar crawl:
a) The 2nd Irish bar that we visited was too packed with people & we didn't really want to go to more than 1 Irish bar. By making the effort to go to Budapest we far preferred to experience local bars.

b) We nearly got into a lot of trouble with some dodgy bouncers & Taxi drivers who were taking back handers from a bar. I think that stag parties need to stay well clear of public taxis. If the guides need to leave a group there needs to be a clearer understanding of how dangerous it is. Maybe transport should be organised as part of the weekend.

c) The bar crawl was advertised to be for 6 hours however I really think that a cut down version (ie: "Introductory Bar Crawl") that runs from 11pm to 3pm on the arrival of a group would be a great option.

3. Did you enjoy your activity(ies)?

Brilliant. We were wanting a relaxed weekend right from the start without too many adventure activities.

The airport limo & the bar crawl on Friday was a perfect start to the weekend. We loved the relaxed nature of the thermal baths & the boat cruise. The stag dinner in the wine cellar was perfect for what we wanted & ideal for speeches, singing & general entertainment.

4. Were you satisfied with the transportation provided? Why or why not?

We were extremely happy with the airport limo pick-up on Friday & were happy with the mini-bus that was arranged for our activities on Saturday.

The taxi's that we caught later on Friday night were very dodgy & almost led the group into a lot of danger.

5. Generally, did the weekend meet, exceed or fail your expectations?

The weekend far surpassed our expectations. Everything was absolutely seamless. In a word, the weekend was simply "magic"

We would strongly recommend your company & this whole experience to other stag parties!

We had an awesome weekend, we are all still recovering.

The Hotel was adequate and well located between the airport and city.

Karin was great and good fun with the guys. She was organised and on time.

The pub in the old town was a good start and the boys made lots of friends and got a good suggestion of where to go next at Unique bar which was what we were looking for.

The paintball was by far the favourite. Everybody had a wicked time. The guys running the place were really cool and put together a great bbq. Highly recommend that to anybody. The go cart was also good fun and was even better to be indoors.

The bus was great and the driver was also always on time.

The boys had a great time and it was great to go through a company so that we didn’t have to worry about any of the hassle. Would definitely recommend you guys to friends.

The hotels location was fantastic, right in the centre, room ok and service fine, perfect for what we wanted

Natalia our guide was superb, very friendly, informative, knowledgeable, went out of her way to help us with any requests. The tour was great as we would have never found the great pubs and clubs she took us to, She smiled a lot! and definitely earnt every penny in fact give her a raise!! Natalia is a legend!

Transportation was fine a big mini bus what more do you want! The timings on way back were a bit mixed up so a rush in the morning but we made it and gave us something to talk about.

The weekend met and exceeded our expectations, This is 2nd time have been with you this year and both times have been great, I had a lot of thank-you from the group for sorting it out no negative feedback at all, everyone had a great time so THANK YOU, I look forward to the next time...

The weekend was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Firstly I would like to commend Sylvia our rep... she was terrific; I think more than one of our group fell silently in-love with her! from the off she was very accommodating and her relaxed but professional style was perfect for this trip. Sylvia was a great a guide to have around on the Saturday - she did a wonderful job of rounding us up for our paintball trip, translating once there and 're-hydrating' us after. It was a joy to have her with us again in the evening and it was great to be able to discuss with her the sort of evening we would like - which she delivered better than we could have hoped. She selflessly stayed out late partying with us and was polite enough to share our hangovers in the morning.

Sylvia’s choices and suggestions of bars and places to eat were excellent.

The Hotel was good although I think we may have had problems if our group had been larger as many other 'normal' guests - the hotel staff were very good at requesting and enforcing our behaviour and the position was fine.

as mentioned before the pub crawl was great and I think completely necessary. we as a group would have appreciated one on the Friday as well - as on arrival found tracking down a good bar very hard... maybe worth considering offering a smaller version of the crawl for the first/second night (even just being taken to two good bars by the guide).

The paintballing was superb; It was unanimously the best paintball for everyone. well worth the drive.

Transportation was punctual, professional and perfectly adequate.

The stag dinner was particularly memorable (probably for the other guests in the restaurant too).

All in all the weekend far exceeded all expectations, all dealings with Stag Republic from primary contact to wave goodbye at the airport have been faultless. thank you and well done.

There was even talk of stag-do anniversary trips..... lets see what the new wives have to say about that though!

again many thanks Helen - dealing with you by email and phone has been wonderfully stress free and most helpful.

The hotel was fine. It was relatively basic in accommodation, but had a good location, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Yes, Anna and Anita made us feel very welcome and looked after, they were both easy to talk to and get on with, and they had everything under control all of the time.

Yes very much, Anita took us to some good pubs (although it was down to us that we only made 3!!) The 4playlounge was OK, but I think the chaps preferred Marilyn's - saying that the manager was friendly and helpful.

The Thermal baths were excellent, the pistol shooting great fun, and the cart racing a good laugh - all of these made better by Anna's help.

The mini bus we had originally was a little worse for wear, but mechanically was sound, so no complaints.

Generally (thanks to Anna, Anita, and Budapest itself) the weekend was a roaring success.

A good "lost" weekend had by all.

Our guide, Natalia, was superb from start to finish. Punctual, funny, polite, and able to guide us in the right direction at every turn.

The guided pub crawl was an ideal way to kick off the weekend and helped us find some quality bars. The stags dinner was good, and they were able to change the times at short notice without too much trouble. Both Mike and Natalia were first class.
 
Transport was on time and relatively cheap. No problems.
 
Overall the weekend exceeded our expectations, a big thanks to those involved from Chris the stag and 13 daft Geordies!!"

BJF: activity was a good laugh, and your reorganisation of the activity two days before we were arriving meant we didn't miss some of the most exciting rugby of the tournament! I was VERY grateful for your doing this by the way Helen, you were very patient, helpful and flexible with what we wanted to do.


5. Were you satisfied with the transportation provided? Why or why not? BJF: Yup, mini bus was provided for when we had organised activities. We had a little difficulty getting everyone to the first bar as we had to get individual cabs which took a while but I don't think anyone noticed. (SR: we now offer a party bus add-on for your pub crawl so getting around is no longer a hassle!)


6. Generally, did the weekend meet, exceed or fail your expectations? BJF: EXCEEDS - Every step of the way.

Thank you so much for organising such an action-packed weekend for our group in Krakow. The shooting and the off-roading events, including transport, were well-organised and great fun. Without a doubt, the pub crawl and the stag dinner were the highlights of the weekend – the after dinner entertainment was top quality and kept the groom-to-be smiling for ages. Krakow has so much to offer: great beer, beautiful women, and with the help of Stag Republic, fantastic activities. It was the best stag weekend I have been on, although I would say that as I’m the best man! I certainly wouldn’t hesitate recommending Stag Republic.

"Mike who was our guide did a fanastic job. Not only was he knowledgebale about Poland but after the shooting activity he took us on a small tour in and around Krakow, recommended things to do, places to visit, bars to drink at etc.
Did you enjoy your activity(ies)? Were the instructors professional (if applicable)? All the members in our party enjoyed the shooting experiece! The instructors were very professional with safety as a priority at ALL times. No messing about with these guys!"

...All the guys think I am a god, most have told me that it was the best stag they have ever been on. Also, due to being late some of the lads didn't get to say good bye Annie. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No… it’s Superman! This is the first Stag Do Tim & I (Roger) ever organised and the chaps agreed it was the best Stag Do they’d been on, EVER! Cheers for organising our activities and making our weekend run super-smoothly. Not having to worry about transfers and where to go for a decent beer made a big difference - the Guides were really helpful and a good laugh too. The Quad Biking was excellent and everyone really enjoyed ragging around the fields of Budapest. With the Stag dressed as Superman I bet the locals wondered who the hell it was zooming past. Strangely our Man of Steel reported not needing his x-ray vision later on in the strip club! But he had a top notch Krypton-night-out!

As best man for a stag do involving 30 men in Budapest, I really appreciated the service that stag republic provided.  Before the trip they were always quick to respond to any queries via e-mail or over the phone and once we arrived in Budapest everything went exactly as promised.  Transport was excellent, activities were great fun and the guides were brilliant - really good fun and very helpful.  Also, unlike other organized trips I have done in the past, there was no pressure to buy any additional services/activities and no hidden extras to pay once we arrived in country.  If you are organizing a stag do in Budapest then look no further than stag republic.

I would thoroughly recommend Stag Republic as an organiser if you are looking for a top drunken weekend. From the organisation before the event through to driving us from place to place in Budapest the whole experience was very professional and stress free. Having proper guides to take us round the pubs was a massive advantage and meant we went to much better bars. Sound bunch of people who love getting you drunk!

I just wanted to drop you a line and say thanks for an outstanding weekend. Everything went absolutely smoothly and we had nothing to worry about. The Stag and all the boys had the time of their lives. Budapest is a fantastic place!
The guides you arranged for us were top class, I have to say a big thank you to Aniko and Thomas who really made our weekend and gave us loads of excellent advise. Tom even wore an orange wig out with us all night!

Everyone was so helpful and friendly even when we had a small problem it was solved quickly and easily - something I really appreciated. I thought I would just send you a quick e-mail to thank you for our weekend (8th July - 11th July) in Budapest. I have been on many stag parties but I felt that your company has made this weekend very special for everybody involved. From the moment we were picked to the drop off at to the airport we were treated superbly by all of your guides. I must praise further Zoltan (I hope this is how you spell it) who was our guide on the pub crawl on Saturday night - He was a star and we all enjoyed his company.
All the guys who came to Budapest said that they would recommend your company to friends if they were to visit Budapest .

Thanks for your help with the weekend just gone.  The guys all had a cracking time.  I think the highlights were mostly the Saturday activities and Bed Beach/Dokk on Saturday evening (excellent recommendation, Paul), and of course the lovely Anna (Guide), who did a great job keeping the guys in line - I think the entire group had all fallen in love with her before we had even gotten to the shooting range, mind you..

Just thought I would write you a quick email to thank you for an excellent weekend in Budapest ! It really was f***in brilliant! Total nightmare being back to work but I guess it has to be done. All the events and organization was superb from the river apartment on the Friday night to the football and meal on the sat night, everyone has a brilliant time, especially Alfie who will remember it for the rest of his life. At least if my best man speech bombs at the wedding the rest of them will be able to vouch that the stag weekend was magic!!
Can you also thank Paul (Guide) for all his help and advise on the trip.... including giving us nightclub tips at 4am !!
If you ever need me to give your company a reference or if you ever have anyone interested in organizing a trip who needs reassurance on what a great time they will have then feel free to contact me - I'll be glad to help. I will also spread the word to other people.

Just a quick note to thank you guys for all your help on what turned out to be a pretty fantastic stag weekend.
Everyone came away more than happy and we all felt as though we needed a holiday come Monday morning, which must be a good sign! Pass on our thanks to Josey who did a great job of keeping everyone in the right places and out of the wrong places. Sorry we didn't need to make use of your legal services this time round but there's always next year.
