About Stag Republic

Back in 2000, two men came together to create a company called ‘Budapest Weekends’. Little did they realise how successful their company was to become. Josey Walker and Paul Karmondy decided to accommodate the need for Stag Parties in Eastern Europe, ‘Budapest Weekends’ became ‘Stag Republic’ and the rest, as they say, is history. They now host at least 10,000 people a year and are Budapest’s number one Stag Party organiser.

Josey and Paul have spent hours, days and months researching the local pubs and clubs, to ensure that they provide the best places for the stags, weeding out the places where you’d rather not go. They have inside knowledge of the best hotels and restaurants, so that you never have to complain about shoddy service or dirty hotel rooms.

Their research didn’t stop with places to stay, eat or drink. The guys continued to ensure that they found the best and most unusual activities that Stags would enjoy. They tried them all out, casting aside the ones that didn’t meet their expectations and the awesome activities are on the website!

Stag Republic went on to employ local guides for the Stag Weekends, these gorgeous, fun and knowledgeable ladies help the stag parties go with a bang. No missing out on activities, because the girls will sort it for you, no language barriers because the girls will translate. If you want to go to the very best in clubs, pubs or restaurants, the guides will get you there and sometimes get you free entry! The girls will also keep watch if it looks like the boys could get into trouble, they’ll steer you in the right direction 😀

There is something for every type of Budapest Stag Weekend, from Bubble Football to a Trabant Tour, a Dwarf in handcuffs or a Steak and Lesbi Show, no matter how crazy or unusual, you can bet that any activity you fancy trying, will be on Stag Republic’s list. More activities join that list when Josey and Paul have found something else that’s new and exciting, the fun never ends!

Because of the success of Stag Republic in Budapest, the company expanded to other countries – Poland, Slovakia and Latvia. Not to leave the ladies out, Hen Nation was set up so that ladies can also enjoy the fabulous activities for their Hen Weekends in the same fabulous style as the boys.
