For many a Stag, the Stag Party is not a Stag Party without a stripper or two. There are many strip clubs in the Latvian capital of Riga, and you’ll be guaranteed nakedness, but you could also be getting yourselves into situations that you hadn’t planned on for your Stag Weekend. To ensure your safety and wallet contents, we’ve done our homework and put together some pointers to help you get the most of your Stag Weekend.
Many of the strippers in Riga are Russian and are super stunning! However, so are the bouncers (not stunning, but Russian) and they can be quite scary! But don’t worry, having one of our guides along with you will help you to choose the clubs where you’ll have an excellent time and be able to have control of your spending (as long as you’re not so drunk you can’t see straight!)
One of the best strip clubs we have found to date is the ‘Jockey Club’– Elizabetes 49. It is run by Swedish folk, who maintain the quality and costs, so you can rest assured that you’re getting superb strip action for a decent price with no hidden extras. We’ve been informed by the club’s PR that the ladies here have ‘higher choreographic education’ we don’t think that the girls went to a strip school (Do they exist? Can you imagine?) but are into sports, dancing and fitness, which gives you boys the enjoyment of watching fit, gorgeous girls, who maintain their energy and sexiness throughout their performances. The Stags will be putty in these ladies’ hands. Trust us, you will not regret it!
Two other strip clubs with great reputations are ‘Dolls’ and ‘Angels’, both aptly named, as the girls working in these establishments are not just attractive, but are gloriously gorgeous with rocking bodies to boot. You can have individual dances or, if you can’t take the heat, you can watch from a distance without being hassled into parting with your hard-earned spondulicks. Neither will you be roughed up by burly Russian bouncers. Bonus.
Stags, don’t be fooled by the ‘free’ drinks that some strip joints offer, this can often end up being a very expensive ‘free’ drink. The girls will also ask you for drink after drink, as they get a percentage of the cost for themselves. Pay with cash. It’s easier, you can control how many you are buying and won’t get ripped off with your credit card. It’s often an horrendous surprise when Stags get home and find that their credit card bill is astronomical, just because they were unaware of these kinds of scams.
